Mini Ride and Drive Pics

We drove around Dubai urban streets on Saturday, 31st August to celebrate Mini's 54th birthday. We started off from Dubai Media City Mini showroom where we got the above cute Cooper S to drive. We look forward to a more prolonged test drive as the car on first impression is quite a standout from the crowd. Our first stop was at Jumeirah Beach Road where a convoy of 25 Minis staged an invasion at the already crowded street. From there the procession went to Dubai Downtown area near Burj Khalifa where we took some snaps. A lot of classic Mini owners were also there with some hilarious cosmetic modifications (see pics below). Last stop was the Bikers Cafe at Jumeirah where the actual birthday party (complete with a cake) was celebrated. We advise other car brands to celebrate their birthdays as well (and invite us ofcourse!).
