Quick Review

Based on the beautiful Audi A7, the S7 is a pumped up, beefier and sportier vehicle that will appeal to customers who rank performance and luxury at the same level.

The S7 is equipped with a 4.0 liter 8 cylinder engine that produces a whopping 420 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. The seven speed manual transmission does an excellent job of propelling you from 0 – 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds! Upon selecting the Dynamic driving mode, the Audi S7 is awoken and the engine is pushed to it's limits. On paper though, the Audi S7 is a quick car, but it doesn't necessarily feel so when being driven possibly due it's weight.

As for the interior, it is almost identical to the Audi A7 and can only be differentiated after noticing the splattering of “S” badges. Standard features include satellite navigation, xenon headlights and 19 inch alloys. Although 4 adults can be seated comfortably in the S7, the sloping roof-line does result in compromised boot space and rear visibility.

From the exterior, the S7 is an elegant car and does not give out too many hints on the amount of power it packs beneath the hood. The S7 will look at home whether it is parked outside the swankiest hotel in town or being driven around a race track.

If for whatever reason you feel the S7 isn't the car for you, be sure to have a look at the Mercedes-Benz CLS Class, the Infiniti M37 and the BMW Gran Coupe.
