Shindagha Tunnel closed during weekend

Shindagha Tunnel will be closed over the weekend due to maintenance reasons as The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced.

Part of the tunnel, which is from Bur Dubai to Deira, will be closed from Friday 28th of June at midnight till 5am 30th of June.

To facilitate drivers, the two-lane tunnel will be transformed into a single-lane road.

The RTA warned motorists of possible delays and requested them to stick to the safety regulations.

A lot of commuters are happy that it will be during the weekend and not during working days.
