The model spotted, sporting skimpy camouflage, is the high-performance version from Mercedes-AMG. And no, it isn’t the E43, but the mighty E63, which is expected to pack in a twin-turbocharged V8 upon its debut at the Paris Auto Show in late September.
According to the word on the ground, the all-new Mercedes-AMG E63 2018 with its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, will churn out an eye watering 563 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque in standard guise. The E63 S, on the other hand, is believed to produce a berserk 603 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque.

With power being delivered to all four corners through a 9-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, the standard model is expected to complete the 0 – 100 km/h sprint in just 3.7 seconds, while the ‘S’ variant betters that time to a staggering 3.5 seconds.
A wet start-up clutch, which offers quick launches, works in conjunction with the factory-fitted “drift mode”, that allows controlled power slides. Additional gains will come from the lightweight MRA platform which debuted in the newest C-Class.
While that’s all for now, stay tuned for the latest updates!
