Launched: 2015 Mazda 2 Hatchback

The all-new Mazda 2 hatchback has been official unveiled in Japan. The new vehicle joins the new family of Mazda designs and there is very little to differentiate its front end from the Mazda 3. The sharp headlamps and horizontal taillights are definitely borrowed from the Mazda3 . Some of the highlights of this new car are as follows:
- Mazda 3 inspired interior including tablet-style screen, air-con dials and BMW iDrive-style rotary controller
- MZD Connect infotainment system which includes navigation, telephone and entertainment controls
- Safety features include lane departure warning, adaptive cruise and auto adaptive headlamps
- Engine options: 1.5 liter diesel and 1.5 liter petrol
- Auto and manual transmissions
- Dimensions expected to be same as Hazumi concept i.e. 4070mm long, 1730 wide and 1450 tall.
- Expected starting price to be 11,000 pounds.
