Infiniti Brings F1 Stars To Dubai Motor Festival

The Dubai Motor Festival 2014 is yet another grand attraction that will bring tourists and residents together in an exciting mix of events. One of the biggest contributers to the event is Infiniti Middle East. For the first time, the 2011 F1 championship winning car, the RB7 will be showcased in UAE. This will not be the prototype, it will be the real thing. It is the original V8 race car from the good ol' days before F1 decided to ban V8 engines!

In addition, Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo, quadruple F1 champs will arrive a few days before the Abu Dhabi GP to drive the car and interact with the public. Finally, Infiniti Middle East will also showcase the 680 NM torque F1 inspired Eau Rogue Concept at the Festival.

We had a brief chat with Mr. Juergen Schmitz, Managing Director Infiniti Middle East who highlighted two aspects of Infiniti's growth over the last few months:

- Infiniti has become the fastest growing premium car brand in the Middle East. For the first half of its fiscal Year 2014 (April-September), sales grew by 30% culminating in a 6.25% market share in September. The results have been substantiated by Middle East Automotive Companies (MEAC) organization. 

- In September, Infiniti Middle East has seen the strongest growth compared to all other Infiniti markets globally.
