2014 Mercedes-Benz S56 AMG spotted

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S56 AMG was caught in Rotterdam, Netherlands, without any camouflage. The car, which is expected to debut at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show in November, is AMG’s V-12-powered S-Class variant.

To tell apart the new S56 AMG from the V-8, the 2014 S63 AMG, the designers added some chrome touches to the grille, front bumper, intakes, multi-spoke alloys and “V12 Biturbo” badges on the front fenders.

The power should be a twin-turbocharged 6.0 L V12 with at least 621 horsepower. Also expected is a 33-67 front-rear 4MATIC all-wheel drive, a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT automatic transmission and an IWC clock.
