A concept car built for the coveted Concours d’Elegance, the Cadillac Escala is the last of a trifecta of concept cars preceded by the Ciel and Elmiraj in 2011 and 2013 respectively. More than a simple concept, however, the Escala previews the brand’s future design language with narrow headlamps and an elegant silhouette.

Approximately six inches longer than the Cadillac CT6 that it shares its underpinnings with, the Escala Concept features a unique nine-layer pearlescent paint finish that blends the brand’s traditional cues with more contemporary ones. Adding to its uniqueness, are a set of horizontal headlamps, the last of which were seen on the Cadillac Seville in 2004.
A concept car in every way, the interior features a dual personality that combines new-age technology with rear-seat comfort. A three-layered curved OLED screen developed by Samsung embellishes the dashboard, while the absence of B-pillars lends the Escala an airier feel.
